Robinson Calcagnie, Inc. Partner Daniel S. Robinson Named a Daily Journal 2015 Top “20 Under 40” Attorney

Each year, the Daily Journal recognizes “rising star” attorneys for the significant impact they have in their legal practice areas and on the community.
Mr. Robinson was recognized by the Daily Journal for his influential leadership roles and successes in the areas of plaintiffs’ catastrophic personal injury, medical product liability, and class actions litigation. Mr. Robinson holds several leadership roles in California and national medical class actions and mass tort matters, including St. Joseph Health System Medical Information Cases, JCCP No. 4716; In Re Risperdal and Invega Product Liability Cases, JCCP No. 4775; Biomet M2a Magnum Hip Implant Products Liability Litigation, MDL No. 1953; In Re Actos (Pioglitazone) Products Liability Litigation, MDL No. 2299; In re Fosamax/Alendronate Sodium Drug Cases, JCCP No. 4644; and others. In the YAZ, Yasmin and Ocella Contraceptive Cases, JCCP No. 4608, Mr. Robinson helped Robinson Calcagnie, Inc. clients secure more than $100 million in settlements for injures related to an allegedly defective birth control product. He has also successfully handled several individual cases, including a $14.5 million verdict for a man paralyzed in a motorcycle accident, a $4.2 million settlement in a premises liability case, a $1.8 million settlement in a negligent security case, a $1.2 million settlement in an elevator product defect case, and others.
